About Us

What This Site Does

This site compares Canadian-facing online casinos on one variable: how well they handle Interac. Not how large the welcome bonus is, not how many slots are in the lobby — whether an e-Transfer deposit is accepted first time, and how long the operator sits on a withdrawal before releasing it. It covers a fixed list of fifteen operators and is re-tested rather than expanded.

How Each Operator Is Tested

Every operator is funded with real money. An account is opened, a deposit of between C$60 and C$100 is sent by Interac e-Transfer from a personal chequing account at one of the big five Canadian banks, and the deposit is timed from the moment the transfer leaves online banking to the moment the balance appears. Where a deposit fails, the failure is traced to establish whether the bank or the casino refused it — a distinction most reviews never make. After at least two sessions a withdrawal is requested and timed from request to funds received, with any identity-document request recorded. Weekend requests are marked as such rather than averaged in, because they distort a payout figure badly.

Where the Bonus Figures Come From

Bonus values are never written from memory. They are taken from a maintained per-geography bonus catalogue and cross-checked against what each operator publishes on its own Canadian pages. Where the two disagree the more recent is used and the discrepancy is noted in the operator's row. Two operators new to the Canadian pool were read directly off their own Canadian landing pages because no catalogue entry existed yet. One had a figure quoted in euros on a Canadian page, which is exactly why the cross-check exists.

Affiliate Links and Independence

The links to operators are affiliate links: opening an account from this site may earn a commission. That is the structural conflict of interest in every comparison site and it is better stated plainly than buried. What it does not change: the order of the ranking, the measured deposit and payout times, or the criticisms attached to individual operators. No operator pays for placement and none sees a page before it is published.

What This Site Will Not Do

It does not claim the operators listed are licensed in Canada, because they are not — they hold offshore licences and sit outside the provincial systems. It does not publish star ratings or numeric scores, because they would be invented. And it does not recommend these sites to anyone who has self-excluded through a provincial operator or iGaming Ontario: offshore operators cannot see that register and will not enforce it. ConnexOntario is available on 1-866-531-2600.
